Loved the first one (and we've yet to see a fully uncut release, the Anchor Bay release isn't uncut) and the ending is stupendous, never saw that one coming!

The first two sequels have a kind of cheerful, surreal charm to them that I find appealing. They're not good films, oh no. But I don't mind them, all the same. Not seen the 4th one.

I'm a big fan of the series, love them all for different reasons, so don't think I could pick a favourite . I have heard the 4th one is dire, though .

I agree and said final reel where all is literally revealed must surely be one of the most disturbing and unsettling moments in slasher movie history. Very freaky indeed!

An intact upgrade of the first SC would be most welcome by yours truly but i'm not so sure about the subsequent entries in the series.

Agreed - although you could see the 'twist' coming a mile away, I wasn't expecting the reveal to be quite like that

All this discussion makes me want to sit down and watch them all again!

I thought the US edition was supposed to be uncut?
