The Attic (1980)
 

I was just perusing some Eyecatcher releases and saw a disk of this film (under the title 13 Stufen Zum Terror). Now, for some reason, I have never heard of this film at all, even though it features Ray Milland (of whom I am very fond).

Has anyone seen it? Is it worth catching up with it?

Also stars the delightful and much missed Carrie Snodgress.

Two excellent lead performances but it's way too talky with a really freaky ending - and absolutely nothing like the cover suggests.

Hmmm...maybe I'll track it down...I actually quite like talky and slow films! :lol:

I have the 2-on-1 US MGM DVD (doubled with Crawlspace) plus the old Intervision pre-cert VHS.

It isn't a bad film by far. It could have done with about 20 mins of editing though.
