The Attic (1980)
I was just perusing some Eyecatcher releases and saw a disk of this film (under the title 13 Stufen Zum Terror). Now, for some reason, I have never heard of this film at all, even though it features Ray Milland (of whom I am very fond). Has anyone seen it? Is it worth catching up with it? |

Also stars the delightful and much missed Carrie Snodgress. Two excellent lead performances but it's way too talky with a really freaky ending - and absolutely nothing like the cover suggests. |

Hmmm...maybe I'll track it down...I actually quite like talky and slow films! Thanks, V, I was pretty sure you would have seen it! |

I have the 2-on-1 US MGM DVD (doubled with Crawlspace) plus the old Intervision pre-cert VHS. It isn't a bad film by far. It could have done with about 20 mins of editing though. |
