 Return to Salem's Lot (1987)
This is quite a dodgy & non-sequitur sequel to Salem's Lot, yet its got lots of charm & B movie appeal. The problem is Warner Bros (I assume they have the rights as they released SL1) havn't released it in this country! agh! Its available in germany apparently but I cant find it at all on amazon.de Anyone a fan of this film (or the original)? Know where I could get a copy?

Yeah, Its very entertaining and well worth watching. The german DVD has an awesome front cover too. I used to have the VHS, which was widely available (and still is 2nd hand), so it makes you wonder why the DVD hasn't been released over here. Heres the German version artwork:  Oh and it stars Michael Moriarty!

I have a copy of the VHS which the guy at the local video store gave me,He didnt have anything good thing tomsay about it though,Hence why he gave it to me.  |

I really like this movie, one of the very first "18" rated horrors I managed to get my hands on some years under age back in the late 80's  You could order the German DVD either from DTM: http://shop.dtm.at/product_info.php?products_id=29709 Or "Beyond Media": http://www.beyond-media.at/shop/inde...a00WOR0U1Yhn0o Moriarty is great in it and cult director Samuel Fuller as a Van-Helsing-esque vampire hunter is a real scene stealer!  |
