Fair enough. Shame, because I like I'm sure a lot of other people here don't really like spending my money on something that is cut.

The version in boxed of the banned is also cut but that was because they just sent the BBFC a pre-cut version.

Im hoping if not Arrow or Shamless, that Eureka Entertainment who releasing WCKAC will release it!

I used to have the uncut Dutch VHS which I bought while over in Amsterdam.Unfortunately, I sold it off a number of years ago, I wish I'd kept it now.I didn't think at the time it would be so difficult in future to get the full uncut version of the film on a legitimate DVD release.

I'm a bit confused over the "German laserdisc", so I did a bit of checking and the only release, apart from a few vhs tapes, I came up with was this DVD:

OFDb - Fassung zu Nightmare (1981)

It's long gone oop and the overall quality is supposed to be pretty horrible, with the only audio being in German,...but at last it's fully uncut

I also downloaded a VHS rip (Dutch I think) which claimed to be uncut, but I don't know enough about the film to be sure. Certainly more uncut than the Hardgore version.

Can I please remind everyone not to discuss illegal content, particularly illegal downloading.

I didn't think it was an issue if there was no legit release?

There are plenty of legit releases of Nightmares in a Damaged Brain, just not in its 'uncut' form. Therefore any talk of an illegal version, in any form, is still piracy and not allowed.

This film has almost become a holy grail of sought after DVD releases, with Code Red allegedly spending a lot of time and money restoring the very damaged original negative over the years. Will this film ever see a proper uncut release on DVD? I don't know, but we can always hope!

Yes but are those releases easy to find?
