I like this World of Video 2000 trailer for Nightmares in a Damaged Brain with the video company warning at the beginning.

Nice to know i'm not the only one here with two copies of Nightmare.

The other day i checked out my old '90s VHS bootleg of the above (Taken from the Dutch Video For Pleasure edition) on the same tape with a copy of Absurd and not only did said VHS still play fine but i didn't find the PQ quite as hard to watch as i initially expected. However, i'm probably still getting rid of this tape though seeing as i own both Nightmare and Absurd on DVD.

Crafty marketing at it's best, along with Vipco's trademark warning.I wonder how many people rented that after seeing the trailer.....

I have to say, I thought the 'Making the Nightmare' doc was awful, I could hardly make out what Baird Stafford was saying. That's said, I'm only really interested in Scavolini's views on the film which I've read elsewhere and are very funny (I think he geniunely believes he is a god )

I have to agree with you on the "making of" doco, it was quite poorly done.I doubt we'll get anything better than this in the foreseeable future, I'm just glad to have anything on Scavolini's notorious nasty.

well, it must be your tv, as i could hear Stafford fine, though my tv will "bleed" if i turn the colour up too high (patches appear at sides etc), so it may just be the old style speakers inside it...
