Why not? Is quite fun to figure out exactly how big 'the game' is and how prepared they were for each eventuality.

This may cause some ridicule to come my way.

As good as They Live and Hellraiser II : Hellbound were, I think I'm going to give my vote to Fright Night II.

I know it's not a patch on the first, but I still think it's a great fun vampire movie. Great that they were able to keep Roddy, who again does a sterling job. Julie Carmen is superb too.

Okay, start the ridicule. I can take it. I like this film. Even more now that I've got a proper 2.35:1 HD print. It looks beautiful.

Child's Play!

I'm surprised it hadn't been mentioned yet!

Then:

Brain Damage
They Live
The Blob

1988 was a great year for movies.

Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 is my favourite. Superior to the first in many ways, it's one of the best sequels of all time (though the last 15-20 minutes or so felt like a bit of a cop-out). Still, I loved it.

Maniac Cop

Fun blend of horror and action with the ever awesome Bruce Campbell and Tom Atkins. Absolutely love the Maniac Cop series.
