Question Lucio Fulci Presents...

Does any have or have they seen any of the Lucio Fulci Presents films? The titles are Massacre, Hellsgate and Murder Secret. There was a time when eBay was awash with the EC DVD's but there rather rare now. I'm currently waiting for Murder Secret to arrive. Anyone seen others?

I have the EC Murder Secret and Voices From Beyond. Both have pretty good transfers, and as for the films themselves, while I wasn't that impressed with Voices, Murder Secret was a pretty fun film.

I've always meant to pick up Massacre, but have never got round to it. There was a time (as you say) when eBay was full of EC titles but with many of them now OOP it is getting harder to track them down. Many of mine I got for under a fiver, and looking at what some are selling for now... I'm glad I got them when they were cheap!

The Murder Secret is great fun and most of its murder sequences were used in Cat in the Brain. Hells Gate is not one of the 'Lucio Fulci presents' titles. Its a truly awful film in every way. Both films have VHS transfers.

Massacre and The Murder Secret are your typical low-budget 80’s Italian schlock – so, if you’re masochistic by nature, you may very well find them enjoyable!! I sure do! Ha. They’re definitely not to be taken seriously… at all.

Well I got bothMurder Secret and Massacre off eBay last week and have now watched them. I really like them, there perfect Shameless titles in my opinion, tacky, sleazy, silly, gory and very entertaining. It's a shame Massacre only has the Italian dub, I think it would be even more silly in English.

I just need to track down 'Hansel e Gretel', Red Monks, Snake House / Bloody Psycho and Escape from Death / Luna di sangue / Fuga dalla morte now. If anyone knows where I can get them let me know...

Hardgore released Red Monks. It's OOP, but should be pretty cheap if you search around...

... In fact Amazon Marketplace have some.
