The stupid UK cover was to cash in on the rather shitty remake Vippo.

I've got rid of my UK BD's.

Until ALL the U.E.'s are released on BD in the US,the below is the way to go!

In fact when they are all out on BD,this is still a keeper!

Hi Dis

I think it's only the special edition of part 2 & 3 which have the 'Lost Tales' segments.

As far as I can gather, the remaining editions (parts 4 - whatever) only seem to contain the trailer for the film as extra features and nothing else

Can anyone explain what the point of the mini-films 'Lost Tales From Camp Blood part 1 - 3' is?
...
These seemed to be generic slasher filler material that could have been put on ANY film from the era and not seemed out of place
My thoughts exactly, no need to be in there, a waste of space.
On the other hand, I loved the documentary-style segments they did, included in a few films, interviewing the Crystal Lake residents, can't remember the name right now, whish there was more of it.

To cut a long story short:
The MPAA got strict after they thought they'd passed the orioginal too easily, so they hit the subsequent sequels with their full wrath, with "Paramount" only too willingly giving in- and as they are not exactly known for their deep-rooted love for the series and the genre in general, "unrated" versions of their "Fridays" will remain a (-n unfullfilled) wet dream for slasher fans around the globe- despite good materials at least still existing for a potentially unrated Part 4.

My friend bought Friday The 13th on VHS for xmas because I was asking him what it was like so i watched it and expected Jason to be the killer after i'd heard all the hype but i was disappointed that the killer was his mother. I really enjoyed it then over the next few weeks i bought 2- Jason X.

I liked 8 but yes I agree it was more Jason's Ship Of Death rather then New York
