One of my top ten favorite horror films -- hell, it might even rank among my top five. And this is coming from someone who is sick and tired of zombies, if you can believe it!

I've loved RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD's mix of horror and humor ever since I first saw it in the theater when I was just 13 or 14. I remember I went with my parents and two of their friends, and I was told to cover my eyes during Linnea's graveyard striptease (this happened a lot back in the day, as I was raised in a Southern Baptist household). Of course, I peeked.

Anyway . . . great film that never ever gets old to yours truly. I think it's the perfect example of a horror-comedy that's not only funny, it's damned creepy at times as well.

And is there any '80s horror movie (other than maybe NIGHT OF THE CREEPS) that's as quotable as RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD?! I think not.
