But there's a ladder shaped like an "A" (For Apollo!) and even a window with curtains!? (Which represents a Stage!)

And I'm sure there's some deep meaning behind Wendy not calling for help when she hears the snowcat outside, there's no way someone like Kubrick would make your typical horror movie oversight like that.

I actually really like The Shining but just can't stand the way it's held up like it's above the horror genre.

This sounds hilarious! Love a good overblown conspiracy, like Paul Is Dead, and 9-11. Not saying 9-11's a conspiracy, just some of the things people come up with are golden

Ok, 6 and a half minutes into that doc.

Was quite ready to quit, because it's like a primary school power point, with the person reading walls of text off the screen, but I stayed.

Then it got to the first code.
"The lake is surrounded by spectacular mountains"
Oh geeze where is this going.
"The sky is reflected in the lake"
As normally happens, what's your point.
"See how the reflection spells the letter A"
*Commence pant wetting laughter*

If it keeps this up, my ribs will be sore very soon

Nah (I want to see it too) I think it's more objective and looks at films like that and the many other various theories/claims on the meaning of the film out there.
