Default Waxwork (1988)

Is this movie worth picking up? I saw it in my local hmv but i wasn't willing to pay the guts of 15euro for it. I've seen it on amazon in the UK for alot cheaper. Anyone out there have it, and what's the picture/sound quality like?More importantly, can you recommend it?

Not sure of Picture quality on that but Waxworks is a must have for any horror fan. Its an extremely fun thrill ride. Especially if its the uncut version. I loved that film.

I loved this film as a kid and haven't seen it since, but I've had it in my Amazon basket for months now and keep "saving for later", might have to order it as it's cheap.

I need to get it to but right now I have a bunch of those Katrina Midnight Video dvds I want to order and they've been laying in my basket for a bit.

Think it's one of those 'you had to be there' nostalgia-rose-tinted type films. Had I seen it as a kid I probably would've liked it, but seeing it for the first time a few months back, I found it a bit dull, and a waste of a decent setup. The sequel I enjoyed even less . . .
