I've never seen it but for just over a fiver on Amazon it can't be that bad a purchase. It is 2 short films for that price. Where did you see the trailer?

It is an interesting anthology to say the least. If you can find it cheap enough, then I'd say go for it. Bear in mind that it's generally considered a curio and will tend to only appeal to arty gorehound completists only! It actually consists of three films: Aftermath (a necrophilia based short film directed by Nacho Cerda), Genesis (a short about a sculptor who is traumatised by the death of his wife) and The Awakening (a very deep film concerning a student shot in black and white - probably my favourite of the three, even though it is only about 8 minutes long). It also includes a fair amount of extras, one of which is a short interview with Cerda and Jörg Buttgereit (of Nekromantik fame). |

its a collection of 3 short films all to do with death, the first one (The Awakening) is a student film and it shows, the idea is interesting but the directing is poor. The second Aftermath is the one that everyone talks about and rightly so it’s a twisted little short about necro-loving, well acted and well directed but Genesis is the best it’s a moving short about love and obsession. Over all a great collection of shorts by Nacho If you’re into Jörg Buttgereit and Buddy Giovinazzo then you will like it |

I own and love this release. Cerda's shorts are breathtaking, especially "Genesis."
