Braindead and Bad Taste are both crying out for the special edition treatment on DVD/BD.I never did pick up the UK DVD of Braindead, but I did have the rental video (with the reversible cover) on the Polygram label which I picked up new for a tenner years back.I don't whether it would be possible for Arrow to release these, but if they did I'm sure these titles would do well for them.

There's an awesome doc about the making of Bad Taste on a DVD release. Can't remember which though, but it's on You Tube - .

Would love to see something similar for Braindead and Meet The Feebles.

I'm sticking with The R2 DVDs I have (and the R4 DVD of Meet the Feebles) in the hope they are released on either SE DVD or preferably BD in the UK.

I may have already said this, but I've made Arrow aware of this thread and the interest in Jackson's early films, so we'll see how easy it is to acquire the rights and if HD master's to Bad Taste and Meet the Feebles exist and are available.

Besides, who wouldn't want to see a BD of Braindead on sale with that title instead of Dead Alive?

The Good Taste made Bad Taste doco was shown on the BBC some years ago after an uncut screening of Bad Taste.
