Do you have good memories of it?

Not seen it since its vhs release, thought it was awful though, would you say its worth re-evaluating?

Fair enough.

Its cast of Brinke Stevens, Linnea Quigley and Michelle Bauer will make me re watch it.

I'ts cast would make avoid it. Most films I've seen with one those three have been terrible.

The other two I'd agree with, but Linnea's been in some cracking films that I've thoroughly enjoyed.

Return of the Living Dead
Savage Streets
Silent Night, Deadly Night
Dead Heat
Night of the Demons
Nightmare on Elm Street 4
Innocent Blood
Kolobos
The Monster Man

So it's not all bad.

ROTLD, DEAD HEAT (I can't remember her being in that but it's been a while since I saw it) NOES4 are good but I thought KOLOBOS and SAVAGE STREETS were awful. Not seen INNOCENT BLOOD, MONSTER MAN and NOTD so can't comment on them.

Night of the Demons (1988) is well worth your time, Pete. I highly recommend it, I think it's great. Then again, a recommendation from me might not be recommendation at all.

The Pit And The Pendulum is an odd one, composition wise. With most films presented at 1.33:1 you can pretty easily tell if it's cropped, intended for 1.33:1, open matte and if open matte what ratio they had in mind for cinema screenings.

Throughout TPATP - at least the Prism version I have - it seems to be a mixed bag of everything! It's pretty much a mystery as to what was intended!
