Just went to see this.

What a load of trash, this was some serious DTV style cornball bottom-barrel acted trash. If it weren't for the large amount of gore and the fact it was in 3D this wouldn't have been worth watching. It's the kind of film that gives 3D a bad name.

But it was quite fun, I was just giggling and shaking my head all the way through.

I reused my glasses from Beowulf but this time thankfully I didn't have to pay as my local has finally got a 3D projector, yay! (and I know the projectionist)

£6.40 for a ticket plus £2 for any 3D film? (with or without free glasses) £8.40 for one crappy B-Movie, disgraceful.

Well I'll be going back to see Bolt in a week or so, hopefully that'll be a more meaningful stab at film-making.

This actually wasn't a bad film. Worth it for the 3D Effects.

Lucky git!!!!

We just got the film. And I stayed right to the end. After all, I paid 9.50 so I wanted my moneys worth!!!!! And I kept my glasses as well.

Speaking of which, people are actually selling these glasses on Ebay! and people are buying them

Saw this at the weekend (being a huge fan of the original).

It was certainly entertaining, and some nice gore and 3D... however it was very poor in everything else. Annoying MTV style shallow characters, not much in the way of creepy atmosphere as per the original, and it never really felt like a 'down on its luck' mining town, but always felt like a set.

Entertaining but never involving.

Not really!!

I liked the NOTLD and DOD remakes but they were not a patch on the originals

TCM was OK

That is what is the most annoying about remakes, a complete lack of originality!!!
