I always thought the original Saw film was overated and average, though I appreciate it's position in horror history. The sequels (most) are much better. Reminds me of the Friday 13th franchise actually. The original whilst being very influential was pants, the earlier sequels are much better paced and a lot more fun as a result.

Yeah I agree, the original's definatley earned it's place in horror history and is probably one of the only horror films of recent(ish) years to be remembered and acknowledged as a classic in years to come so gotta give it props for that the sequels are more fun though, the third one's always been my personal favourite.
