HALLOWEEN II (2009) (Rob Zombie)
Anyone seen this yet? Has it opened in the UK?

I cant say I was too impressed. The fact that he didnt use the iconic theme till the ending credits really annoyed me too.

So the original HALLOWEEN II still rules the roost then?

Think that was just a way for Zombie to get some more screen time for his wife BS

Just read your review mate. Sounds pretty bollocks! No mask? No iconic theme tune? Beard? It's Halloween Zombie, not Christmas FFS! Jesus Myers for part 3? I too enjoyed the remake, which in a world of shitty remakes, was far better than most!

I think I was one of the few who found the film interesting, I'm not a major Halloween fan so can live with the changes he's made. The idea of getting into the killers head was a good one, it's flawed movie to say the least, but I'm looking forward to re-visiting it. It was also brutal as sheeeit! |

Yes a lot more brutal than the original sequel which is PG material compared to this. I also found it entertaining despite its faults.
