**Possible Spoilers** I thought it was fine. It's better than Diary (which I thought was decent anyway). I liked the score, the story and the acting was pretty good. Some funny moments, some crappy moments with the 'will they eat a horse' balony. Other than that, it's a George A Romero zombie film and is better than most films made for a similar budget. Good fun all round. Also, I didnt see much lazy or forced social commentary in this one. The story is simple. Good fun for 80 minutes. |

Someone on the 'British Horror Films' forum just made a scary observation.... 'If he makes one more crappy zombie film then he'll become a man who's mostly made crappy zombie films - that can't be right, surely?" Yikes! Talk about a bad chapter in horror history if that happens! Someone stop him! |

True though... 3 great zombie films vs 4 barely average/crap zombie films. This must not happen.... |

It's IF he makes another crap zombie film he would then have made more bad zombie films than good ones. At the moment its a tie (and that's bad enough). Romero. THE zombie guy would then have made more crap zombie films than good ones. So we must urge him not to even bother trying to make another zombie film...ever. The statistical calamity is too dicy to gamble with. |

He means if George makes 1 more average/bad film then it'd be 4 of them against 3 great ones.

So, giving the naysayers the benefit of the doubt about Survival..., that would be five good zombie films to two duffers. |

I bought mine from a local indie dvd shop for £3 secondhand I assumed, but when I got home and took it out to watch it I found out it was a copy. I actually rate Land of the Dead as one of the great 'Dead' movies, and Dairy as very good, but wasn't that fussed on Survival. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and as a standard zombie film its silly but enjoyable enough, but as an entry in Romero's 'Dead' films its pretty weak imho.
