I haven't yet seen Survival (possibly a wise move) so my choice is as follows.....

1. Dawn
2. Night
3. Day
4. Land
5. Diary

I thought the last two were so bad it was hard to separate them.

I just ordered Survival....

I still can't understand why such a vociferous section of the audience dislike Land... and Diary...! Oh well, c'est la vie...or should that be c'est non-mort?

The only zombie film I've seen to rival a Romero film was 28 Weeks Later. I though 28 Days Later was drival - the sequel really impressed though.

Diary and Survival will no doubt be appreciated in about 20 years once they're compared to the likes of Apocalypse of the Dead and whatnot.

Official Announcement death rattle of the dead

if you have seen survival then you will know that this is by far the worst of the dead series it could very well be the last nail in the coffin of the great dead fillms lets justhope thatthis film dosnt gt out of the coffin and spawn another thier just flogging a dead horse hopfully the dead horse will bite romero on the arse for making this sad excuse for a dead sequel

at least th last 5 films seemed to have something to say but this one said nothing zombieland was the same but at least that was funny

I much prefered the sequel too Phil - I thought I was the only one!

Neither am I. I thought it was disappointing after Dawn.

Thats the problem.....Dawn (IMHO) was as good as it gets, hence, anything else cant compete and will ultimately disapoint,I compare the ...of the dead films to Slayer albums, the first 2 were really good and fresh, the next Reign in blood was as good as it gets and although the next couple were "no bad" everything since has been disapointing.
You could compare this progression to the films that(for example) Bruce Lee may have made if he hadnt met such an untimely end, there would most certainly be disapointments......you peak to soon and the only way is down.

Thats my opinion anyway.

I agree Rich , ,look at Tobe Hooper, he piked with TCM and apart from the, IMHO , equally good Death Trap, he's never made a film that comes close to to TCM again, and probably never will.
I think its the same with George , to many people expect every next film in the series to be equal to or better than Dawn , but thats never gonna happen. You can only make your best film once, though IMHO all the other films in the series have been exceptionably good, with only Surival being bad.

My fav 'Dead' films.

1..Dawn
2..Land
3..Day
4..Dairy
5..Night
6..Surival
