Hopefully Spiral will be better than Jigsaw,

The Christian Version Of ‘Saw’ Is As Ridiculous As It Sounds / Dread Central

"The Saw franchise is infamous for its intricate traps and creative ways of ripping apart human flesh. It’s also infamous for having a twisted sort of ethics behind it, with the killer Jigsaw playing by a certain set of rules. But, what if you were asked to play a game… for God’s love? That’s what the Christian film The Reconciler asks in a strange and ultra-religious twist on the horror franchise.

In the 2015 film directed by Shawn Justice, “a mysterious man gathers people who are estranged or distant from each other to see if he can bring them back together before it is too late.”

There’s also a detective hot on the Reconciler’s trailer to figure out who he is and a journalist investigating the darkness in the world, per her editor’s assignment.

While the film doesn’t deliver arterial spray and oodles of viscera like the Saw series, it does have whispers of the franchise with people being captured and placed in an abandoned warehouse, the middle of the woods, and more. These victims wake up with no memory of how they got there and must try to figure out the “puzzle” to escape. The puzzle is finding room in your heart for forgiveness. Thanks, God!

Basically, this is a film where Jigsaw operates solely on love and wants to make the world a more peaceful place.

Most notably, former WWF wrestler Roddy Piper stars in the film in his last onscreen role before his passing in 2015. He plays the editor who is trying to grapple with the pervading sense of darkness in the world.

Bill Ritchie, Jeremy Steel, Jourdan Steel, Michaelle Roberts, and Xander Steel also star in the film. "
