I might be a little baised (The directors are from my home country) but I really love this movie! To me it is a piece of art!

I was really excited about seeing this so grabbed it when I spotted it for £5.

I was ripped off!!!

Rather than Kill Bill it reminded me of the video nasty 'Snuff'. A long turgid, boring journey then sudden out of context violence.

Really poor amateur stuff and the directors failings are highlighted in the extras on the DVD with the inclusion of their early short films.

Avoid.

It may be a lot of things but "amateur" isn't one of them. There's a real craft to the film making in terms of the direction and cinematography and the whole thing looks amazing. I can understand people not liking it though.
Slippery Jack likes this.

Funny, I found it on a technical level one of the most impressive horror films of that decade. Can't wait to see Cattet and Forzani's next film (The Strange Color of Your Body's Tears - that HAS to be a giallo, right?).

"The Kill Bill of Giallo cinema" is a daft and misleading tag imo . . .

Its really just the way the soundtrack is composed of other film soundtracks really isn't it?

Didn't know they were working on another film though. Cool title!

Apparently they also directed a segment in The ABC's of Death, which I'd be interested to see . . .
