Default See No Evil (2006)

I had first heard of this film through advertising via WWE, and I thought this film should be rather good, it had Kane a 7 ft man as a killer. Then I bought the film and enjoyed it.

Even though it was straight to dvd (a slasher film as well), I found the deaths rather inventive and the charactor's had some depth to them. There was obviously the key people - the slut, good girl, bad arse im hard bloke etc and the dialogue needed some work but I did enjoy it.

Plus Kane looked the part and you could see he enjoyed it.

This isn't a review it's just an opinion so just out of curiosity what did you lot think of it

As modern slashers go, this is clearly one of the best of them.
Nice pacing, suitably gory kills, atmospheric location, good visuals and some prison inmates instead of the usual cast of teens- what more could you ask for?
As you wrote, Kane looked the part, an effectively scary hulk of a madman.
Unfortunately the film didn't do so well at the US box-office, so we're not likely to see a return of him in any "See No Evil 2".
Favourites? The very final shot and the "cell phone murder".

I like it,watched it in the cinema together with some other films (horror night) and thought this was the best of the bunch.
It's no masterpiece but there are some good ideas.
