Default Neighbor (2009)

The 2009 torture flick has been scheduled for UK release with 19 secs of cuts in a scene where the woman inserts a urethral sound into a guys semi-erect penis.

I saw this while back and its pretty rubbish tbh, typical modern US horror.

See here for some pictures of that scene

I am sure gorehounds will love it, as its a 10/10 in that respect.
I thought the gore effects harked back to the video nasty days, rather than todays fast editing.
You can pick it up unrated on region 1 for under a tenner.
However as in the previous post, something about the film isn't quite right, but i can't put my finger on it.

Sometimes that's all I'll need for some recreational viewing.

Thanks for the info on the BBFC cut. 19 secs sounds "okay" if compared to the 4:04 mins which had to go for the German release.

I know what you mean, but compared to the heavy chunks I'm used to getting cut out of German releases 19 secs sounds "tolerable" to me.
It's usually also quite "skilfully" done in the UK compared to other quarters where the cuts tend to be far clumsier.
Many choose only to watch uncut flicks.
To me, it's really depending on the individual movie vs price and the amount of cuts.
If somebody threw the UK DVD of "Neighbour" into my direction I wouldn't say "no" if on bargain price.
Beats waiting around for either the eventual Scandinavian or Austrian release...and "Neighbour" isn't the kind of film I'm so eager to get that I'd import the R1, but that's just my own take.
