Yes that's the one.

I haven't seen any of his films myself although I might see this one.

I saw the first 20 minutes of his House of the Dead and I kind of get it. People's responses to the guy do appear over the top in normal terms, but the response seems proportionately what I would expect when taking into account how dumb the majority of people are online and how terrible the first 20 minutes of House of the Dead is. Plus the guy courts it.

I'll be tempted to give both Postal and Seed a rent, though, as I've heard positive things about both.

Im not really a big fan of Uwe Bolle but I think the petition that was put on the web to get him to quit directing was definetly uncalled for.

IMO an artist is an artist and should be free to practise their work as long as its within the law.

Ok people mightn't like his work but surely they should just not view his films instead of demanding the guy quit.!

Im looking forward to Seed and Dard , but wish this 'torture porn' term that follows films like these would disappear, its a terrible term and in most cases extremely misleading.

I reviewed the cut-by-5-mins German version of "Dard Divorce" and am quite looking forward to picking up the complete UK DVD at some later point.

"Seed" is also a film I'd like to check out. At least this one will get a Scandinavian reelase later this autumn.....

By the way Peter I saw the uncut version recently.

The violence was indeed very strong so it's just a shame that the film itself was so poor. Still it's a great improvement on the director's Burning Moon.

From what I heard in interviews, Ittenbach would probably be the first to back that assumption.

Still, I have a soft spot for "The Burning Moon" and the era of late 80's/early 90's German "underground horror".

It's pretty intense and the visual effects (like most of Ittenbach's work) are top-notch. The plot doesn't really make sense at times though, although this is a gore film, so a lack of cohesive plot tends to be the norm.

No masterpiece, and I've definitely seen better from the genre (and Ittenbach), but worth a look. If you're not sure about it, you may be better off trying to find it cheap (or rent it if possible) - just make sure it's uncut.
