Default Dard Divorce (2007)

Anyone seen this film?

Sounds like an extreme torture film in the vein of the Saw/Hostel films.

It's heading the BBFC's way soon so it will be interesting to see what they make of it.

Directed by Olaf Ittenbach who also directed The Burning Moon in 1992. Another film with an extreme reputation.

Not that I'm into torture films but was just wondering if Dard Divorce was actually any good?

This is being released here in the UK by Metrodome - I think it's been pushed back to 6th October...

Never heard of this one but it sounds like something that would like to see.
Can you keep us posted on how this does at the BBFC, Angel.?

Hm - I'll have to ask about this - I'm meeting a guy from Metrodome tonight for a drink or seven. Talking of torture porn I'll be doing the PR for a film called Borderland form Momentum - anyone seen it?

Haven't seen Borderland, Almar. but I know it contains scenes of torture (surprise, surprise). Rated R in the states but apparently there is also an unrated version. Unfortunately the IMDB lists the running time of the unrated version but not the R version. Shame as we could have worked out how much was cut for the R. Presumably we'll get the unrated version here eventually.

Seen some stills from Dard Divorce, looks extremely vicious, but it being a German film will mean it will go out subtitled here, diminishing the chance of cuts I suspect.

Sorry, Bad wording by me.
I ment was it submitted pre cut or complete, and if a BluRay release was on the cards , stuff like that.
I know you mentioned the release date and as I cant always get in to town when I plan to, knowing the release date is a massive help to me. Thanks for posting it .

I think the chances of the film being submitted pre cut would be very remote indeed. There was a time when it was quite common for companies to pre cut their films prior to them being submitted to the BBFC but this more or less no longer happens. Also there is no R version of the film (thankfully) so no chance of us being lumbered with that either.

Thanks Angel.
Its just with Blackhorse submitting Holocaust pre cut it was still on my mind, plus I didn't know there was no R version.
