This is regarding the 'Videodrome' remake, from the producer:

According to Deadline, Berg and Kruger plan to “modernize the concept, infusing it with the possibilities of nano-technology and blow it up into a large-scale sci-fi action thriller.”

So, I'm not worried about them remaking it, it will sink and no one will ever remember it. Like all the other pointless ones. Long live the OLD/ORIGINAL flesh!

If only you realized how long that's been in the works. CREATURE has more failed attempts than any other horror film.

It's been on the cards for a while now, but always seems to get put on hold. Patrick Lussier was originally set to direct, but he's left the project now. But, according to Barker's own site, it's still in play and probably will get remade eventually at some point. Sorry to disappoint you.

As was Pascal Laugier (Martyrs) at one point. And before that the A'l'interieur boys. I was quite intrigued to see what those guys would have done with it, but they all left due to differences with the producers.

The last Hellraiser was only made to keep the rights so a remake is almost certain.

Had a $300k budget or something stupid, movie really did suck.
