Apparently Tim Curry, who was Frank in the original stage play and film, is due to appear in the remake, playing the Criminologist/Narrator!

Laurel and hardy are ultimate classic slapstick comedy.
No matter who plays them they a lot to live upto but in the long run its all down to the script storyline and directing
So i think its huge to task to take but one never knows.

You could say that about Charlie Chaplin as well, which is why Richard Attenborough's biopic with Robert Downey Jr was met with mixed reviews – I hated it, considering it way too ambitious and didn't like Downey's performance either.

It's not a biography, but unfortunately that role was taken by Will Sasso in the Farrelly brothers 2012 movie.

The Mummy reboot has been given a 2017 release date.
I wasn't at all interested in this, but Tom Cruise is in it, which suddenly makes me a lot more interested. Say what you will about the Cruiser, he does not make shit movies. More to the point, he doesn't make LAZY movies.
I had written this off entirely already. Now... not so much.
