Default Hatchet III (2013)

Anybody else looking forward to the next installment in the Hatchet franchise?
I loved parts 1 & 2 and am really excited to see what the first two films' DP can do as director, personally chosen by Adam Green himself.
More details and trailer here

The best new slasher franchise since Sleepway Camp. Really excited about this.

And no CGI too, or very little anyway
And this fine specimen of a woman from part 2 onwards

Hatchet is one of the best slasher films ever. Adam Green got off to a cracking start with this shining gem.

Hatchet 2 however, was even better. I know many may not agree, but I just enjoyed it so much more. Maybe it was the fact that they brought Danielle Harris aboard

And as for Hatchet 3... Well after this trailer who would NOT want to see it. Aside from Danielle and Kane returning, we get Derek Mears, Zach Galligan and Cody Blue Snider (Dee Sniders son) in starring roles. I'm anticipating this more than Iron Man 3!

(And yes, Adam has mentioned that there will be a Jason vs Jason fight between Kane and Derek)

Same here. I didn't love the first, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hated part two - it was dull. And can't muster up any enthusiasm for part 3 either.

Well it does look alot better than the bloody awful sequel. Good to see Zach Galligan back on screens, dunno what he's been doing since Gremlins and i find it amusing that Derek Mears is an improve comic.

Galligan was in an interesting, if flawed, slasher called Cut a few years ago which was done in one single take.

I thought the first Hatchet was ok but didn't like the second one (I think, might have been the other way round). I really don't seem them as a return to the classic slashers of yesteryear as so many people do as they're far too knowing for that sort of thing.
