I thought first one was good because it was fresh and not been done before, and something new what the film and horror industry wanted and needed.

To much pointless and unnecessary shouting to extent u struggling to understand what he saying and eventual it becomes annoying.. The human centipede it almost none existence and only happens almost towards the end. The final sequence well lots hope its exactly that the final one i couldnt take much more of this rubbish Such a big budget for a lowly bad made film Terrible terrible terrible avoid at all cost. The third one is truly awful. A kinda neat idea completely ruined in its execution. I reviewed it on Letterboxd, thusly: "And for the third time, a Human Centipede movie fails to deliver upon its promise. So many problems with this film it's hard to know where to begin. The self-reflexive nature of the franchise is pretty much the only think I like about them; the way they can be chained together like the titular centipede is an interesting enough idea. But that's it. The film tries to shock and stun at every opportunity (sexual abuse, clitoris-eating, bone-splitting violence, racism etc) that by the time the centipede comes around (which is all to briefly by the way) the power to shock has gone. Tom Six's rampant egotism is present in the form of a cameo and boy can this man not act. Something which is a common theme in the film - both Dieter Laser and Laurence R Harvey put in completely woeful performances (unlike their previous appearances in the franchise which worked within the confines of the respective films) and the film is completely devoid of any real plot, just a string of needless shock tactics until the centipede is unveiled at the end of the final act. As audiences we've swallowed Tom Six's shit for long enough, all in the name of boundary-breaking transgressive cinema. This sort of rubbish has to stop." |

I liked it. Put a review on What films have you seen thread. To sum up, its vile low rent trash that's offensive to human beings. However I found myself chuckling. Don't think it was meant to be a shocking horror, more a vile comedy. However if Tom six wanted a shocking horror he f*** up big time. |
