Insidious: Chapter 2: Official Announcement

"A 20 shocks-a-minute fright machine"
Andrew Ewart, The Sun

Insidious Chapter 2 is supernatural horror at its best. A nerve-shredding sequel to the box office smash hit Insidious. Renowned director James Wan and the Blumhouse family prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that scares should be a mixture of great characterisation and suspense. A modern day reimagining of vintage horror mixed with incredible direction makes for one of the most intense cinematic experiences in recent years.

Key talent:

James Wan, Director (Fast & Furious 7, The Conjuring, Saw)

Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring, Girls, Watchmen)

Rose Byrne (Damages, X-Men: First Class, Bridesmaids)

Ty Simpkins (Jurassic World, Iron Man 3)

Barbara Hershey (Once Upon a Time, Black Swan)

Leigh Whannell (Cooties, Saw, The Matrix Reloaded)

Synopsis:

With Josh (Patrick Wilson) and Renai (Rose Byrne) still coming to terms with the death of parapsychologist Elise, the Lambert family move into his grandmother Lorraine’s home. However all is not well as Josh and Renai continue to experience the demonic forces that are set on turning their lives to chaos.

With Josh’s increasingly bizarre behaviour, Renai is forced to seek help to protect her family and in uncovering the truth she soon learns the terrifying reality… Josh didn’t come back alone.

You'll Love It Because...

Insidious: Chapter 2
is a spine-tingling, edge of the seat treat. We loved it!

We jumped and in some cases screamed a little as events unfolded. A well crafted and thrilling tale of the supernatural told through the Lambert family that will ensure the Insidious franchise goes from strength to strength in the future.

We can’t wait for the next one!

If it's anything like the first I'll pick it up, I know some don't like it but I thought it was a nice scare ride, in fact one of my faves from recent years, Sinister was along the same lines too, and as it's not choc full of gore... all can enjoy.:fear:

I enjoyed the first one way more than i taught that i would some points stopped it being great but i wont get into those incase people have not watched it yet. I hope this one is as good and maybe ends after this movie. A four or five film series will ruin what it has established so far.

I'd rent it, it's a bit of a mess, definitely worth a watch but not as solid as the first.
