Default Tim Burton Remaking The Abominable Dr Phibes

Yep Burton is remaking the original Vincent price classic with Johnny Depp starring in the title role...and i am sure we will see Carter in there as well. Not sure about this but I don't wanna see Burtons black humor in this I would rather see it played more straight.

Urgh! Another piece of tired style over substance nonsense with Depp and Carter. I miss the old Burton.

He's also working on a biopic of Margaret Keane, entitled Big Eyes. Looking forward to that one

I'd watch a Tim Burton remake over 75% of the dreck that gets a release these days. I'm actually intrigued by the idea of this, providing that it's aimed at an adult audience and not a gutless PG-13 crowd-pleaser.

Wishful thinking?? But at least itl mean the originals will be reissued (now that's wishful thinking)

Wasn't the original a black comedy Not sure the material can be played straight If he can replicate the campy, bloody, Hammer Horror style of Sleepy Hollow, then I'd be mildly interesed . . .

I'm not a fan of the Phibes films because they had too much black comedy.
