Just to go against the grain, I'm actually rather looking forward to it.

Though it'll probably end up crap.

I'm quite looking forward to it as well. I'm sure it won't be any good, but I always enjoy seeing Michael do his thing. In fact, although I prefer installments in the Friday 13th and Elm Street series', Halloween is a series where I can enjoy pretty much any entry. Even the remakes and Resurrection

Is this the official poster?

The statement: '...the studio that brought you Sinister, Insidious and Paranormal Activity' makes me wonder if it's genuine or a fan thing

It's just a fan thing.

There's nothing regarding the JC produced one yet. As far as i am aware, nothing shows up on the net. Where did you find the poster?

Halloween Returns which was meant to revamp the series again was shelved mid pre production when Dimension lost the rights to it.

But we have all heard about the exploitation films of old, when people would think up a title, create a poster, sell the whole kit and caboodle... and then go out looking for funding to actually make the thing!

Isn't that what Sean S. Cunningham did with Friday 13th?
