Default Krampus.

Anyone seen this one yet, thinking about purchasing it and keeping for the Christmas season.

I haven't seen it but it's one that will be a definite watch this coming Christmas Eve.

Director Michael Dougherty made the brilliant Trick r' Treat which is arguably the best horror film of this century, in my opinion.

It took over four times it's $15m budget at the box office so the punters must have enjoyed it as well.

I wonder why the 3D version is not getting a UK release?

Simply love 3D. Watched The Maratian the other night and it was mind blowing in 3D.

Saw it in theaters. Was tremendously disappointed. It wasn't as fun as Trick 'r' Treat and the pacing and character focus was just off. Little to no comedic timing throughout and the movie took itself waaaay too seriously. It's not really my cup of tea but I know some people who enjoyed it.

I felt it really ripped off of a lot of things that already exist rather than paying homage to them like in Dougherty's other work.

Kinda refreshing to hear someone else say this. I saw it in the theater too, and just wasn't as enamored with the film as much as everyone else seemed to be. I enjoyed it, but found it very overrated and don't really have a desire to see it again.

Exactly how I felt. It was just soooo meh. The toys were cool but I kept thinking of Demonic Toys and Krampus himself wasn't all that scary. That ending
SPOILER:
(where he wakes up and everything was a dream where they were also all trapped inside Krampus' snow globe just like the end of St. Elsewhere)
was truly frustrating as well because it combined two baffling twist endings into one.
