Angel just said it - it's been 'rejected'! Does that mean it needs to be cut or is it totally banned?

It's been totally banned. The reasons for rejection normally take a while to appear but the BBFC will generally list them in detail as they did with Murder Set Pieces.

It must be pretty extreme for the BBFC to do this.

It is totally banned.

The film must have contained a huge amount of sexual or sexualised violence that was in breach of their guidelines and cutting would have meant there wouldn't have been anything worth releasing.

Sorry Vince but I have done it again.

Yes it will be interesting to see the BBFC's justification for the rejection which should appear shortly. It seems to have taken everyone by surprise.

It could only be unacceptable levels of sexual violence.

I'm looking forward to seeing it now just to see if the BBFC are on the level.

No worries Angel. Better to have two similar than none at all.

I think we mentioned in an earlier post that it had been at the BBFC for quite a long time. This didn't bode well at all. I haven't seen it as yet either (though I will too) but it does sound a bit OTT. Embodiment Of Evil seemed to spend a while with them as well, though it ended up intact in the end (only just by the sound of it).

Yes I think we're all going to see it now.

This is the 4th film to be rejected on the grounds of sexual violence in just 2 years. I am just assuming it is sexual violence because after all it can't be anything else.

I am a bit surprised myself at the moment although I still need to see it. I thought it may have passed with minimal cuts in the end judging by the reviews I have read.

It only runs for 74 mins so maybe cutting it would have been pointless.

What are the other film's that have been rejected?

Murder Set Pieces, Texas Vib Massacre and ........
