Default The Last Exorcism (2010)

My review of this movie is up at Flash-Bang;

The Last Exorcism

It's fatal drafting a review during a lucnhtime, at work. I'm not entirely happy with my review but it reflects the difficulty in reviewing a movie that you don't want to spoil for others.

I genuinely liked the movie but realise that it will polarise horror film fans. If you don't fancy testosterone fuelled action movies next week give it a try. It will provide much in the way of talking points if nothing else.

Feel free to give an opinion, if you also caught a screening but please make sure you give a clear *SPOILER* warning if discussing the final 5 minutes.

So do you think people are going to see this or avoid this just because who directed it?

Why would anyone avoid a movie directed by Daniel Stamm? No-one's heard of him before now.

Sorry, i did wonder if that's what you meant. You're right, it might make the casual viewer think twice. I think that the similarity to Emily Rose might do more damage and talk/spoilers of the ending. People like being scared and that might be enough to get interest; the possibility of an actual scary movie for once.

It'll work just aswell on disc, but by the time it has been released you might already know the whole plot.

Pardon me as I don't read your reviews until I seen the movie.Yeah it looks like it might be good.I see that some folks decided to dump on CABIN FEVER because of its connection to Eli Roth.
