Long time since I was last here - too busy I guess...

But since I found this thread and I had been lucky enough to catch Hatchet 2 at the Hamburg fantasy Filmfest a couple of weeks ago, I can tell you that all who liked the first film should be pleased. It maybe starts a little slow, but then gets a bloody run till the end. Tony Todd is also excellent (as always) he is just a good story teller and he gets to tell the past of Crowley. It was one of the highlights for me at the festival!

Default Hatchet 2

I caught it at Frightfest. I wasn't a fan of the first; didn't find it funny and the characters were rather annoying I thought, but I really enjoyed the sequel.

There's no mention of an audio commentary on Universal's U.K. DVD sleeve so i'm assuming the relevant yap track included on the U.S. release is absent from the R2 edition. Shame that as i believe all other extras are present on the Universal variant.

I'm currently waiting for my U.S. DVD and BR editions of HII to arrive but i'll still have Arrow's release if the company's customary hard work is in evidence.

Excellent, it shoulld get a nice release then
I finally saw the first this weekend. I'd heard a lot of hype, so I was pleasantly suprised that it was a really good flick. Definately check out the sequel.
