Let's hope the release of this see's the BD trilogy being unleashed.Uncut.
Keep dreaming! The US releases are out this coming week. Just the theatrical version of Scream unfortunately. A missed opportunity yet again for the unrated version.

I'll be going to see this, I do enjoy the other 3 films. Fun slasher films. Number 1 had a brilliant story too.

Thanks for not spoiling Argentofan!
Lionsgate only recently acquired the rights so there was no real time for new hd transfers...all fans are already hoping these will be re-released properly later.

I cannot wait for this. I love Scream, and I love Wes Craven, and I fully trust him to succeed with this as he has with the previous films. He always manages to really update his style and make his films not only relevant but in some cases even defining for their decade.

So although I am of course a bit nervous about how this will turn out, being the fourth film in a series – I'm almost completely reassured by the fact it's still Wes doing it, rather than someone else having taken over in the process as is the case with so many other horror sequels/series.

Also, am I the only one planning a Screamathon before heading to the cinema for this...?

Hehe I should have said – from what I've seen. I've by no means seen all, or even the majority, of his films. I still believe that he can pull it off, though.

I haven't seen the other two but I really liked Red Eye,it's not a horror movie of course but a thriller.
