Saint (2010) - Dick Maas - A Horror Xmas Fave?
 

Just bought this at Asda today for £7.

From director Dick Maas -(De lift, Amsterdamned). Obviously i haven't seen it yet but from the trailers and a clip on Amazon it looks like it could become a festive favourite with me.

Just watching it now ! So far - really great fun.

Saw it last night at the Horrorthon festival in the IFI in Dublin.

It's really good. Reminded me a little of John Carpenter's The Fog. It was very entertaining

i been wanting to see this.
It looks like a much darker evil santa movie then Rare Exports which was brilliant.

I hope i can hold off watching it till the Christmas tree goes up. :confused:

Great to see it getting some good promo, BUT, like the other foreign lang films that end up riding high in supermarket charts, you do wonder how many unsuspecting ppl give it a blind buy only to rtn it the folowing day as they were unaware it was subtitled.

Can't remember if it was no 4 or no 7, but as Snips said, top 10.

Its £9.99 on Play.com and Amazon, so Asda seems like the place to pick one up.

Don't think I'll be getting it. Had some good moments here and there, but overall I thought it was a bit messy, especially the naff ending. Looking forward to seeing Rare Exports though - I found the shorts had a dry humour similar to The Troll Hunter . . .
