Saw it the other night and really liked it a lot. Lots of nice nods to the original but still it's own movie. Some great gore fx in there too, especially the 1st killing. Cracking soundtrack too - looking forward to the Death Waltz release in May.

Also, it makes so much more sense that women would even speak to him when he's played by a younger actor - don't get me wrong, I love the original but would anyone, let alone Caroline Munro, even approach Joe Spinell?

Weirdly it was showing in one of the bigger screens at the Cineworld here in Glasgow, not that there were many people there. Nice seeing it on a huge screen and especially fun having a few jumpy patrons sat behind me.
