Cool

Why? Who? What?... I can't imagine how anyone in charge of anything could think this is a good idea, you can hear the execs from here "Okay, but no scalping, no gratuitous sleaze and nothing to upset the MPAA, maybe a PG13" Only good that may come out of it would be Lustig getting a few quid.

I'm probably the only person in the world that quite likes this news! It could prove to be a very interesting and different take on the original rather than a copy-cat and (even more) pointless remake of Maniac. Elijah is a great actor and his role as the killer in Sin City was brilliant. I imagine it could be like Maniac but with a Norman Bates-like character.

I was just going to say he's great in Sin City so, while I'm not sure this remake will still work, I can imagine him doing a great job in the role

Maniac's not exactly a good film, but surely after the flops of Fright Night, Straw Dogs and The Thing, studios would leave remakes alone.
