Saw this on saturday (thanks Kyle!)

Good performances, and actually a pretty tense film after the halfway mark. Some really grim scenes for those who like them.

Wahey! Glad to hear you enjoyed it. What did the audience think of it - hear any gasps of horror?

It certainly is a very grim film, dirty, mean, gritty and very very violent.

Sounds like my cup of tea, shame to read that the UK release is a cut version though. Looks like I may have to place a US import order unless something to the contrary appears

It seemed to go down well. I certainly grimaced at some points. There was a couple of people in the back row next to me who laughed at a couple of the really nasty bits, I wondered if they were from the Cult Labs board

apparently we have the R rated 108min cut over here and not the full 117 minute cut that the U.S have plus we're minus a blu ray. I loved it though.

here's my review...

Wouldn't surprise me! We're all blood-thirsty nutters on here

Great review and spot on.

I have my own theory about the guys in suits. It's actually nice not to be patronised with a full explanation of everything, as so many hollywood films are guilty of.
