Official Announcement

Looks like yet another pointlessly unnecessary Hollywood remake, of a film that doesn't need remaking in the first place.

I expect it to be as worthwhile and entertaining as all the other Hollywood remakes, like FRIGHT NIGHT, THE HILLS HAVE EYES, FRIDAY THE 13TH, NIGHTWATCH, i.e. a complete stinking pile of smelly, steaming horse poop!

I think it looks good - much better than the poor original.

You gotta be kidding, the original is one of the best slasher films, especially due to the fantastic Joe Spinell! I have my doubts about Elijah Wood in this role, but he looks better than I feared - maybe Gollum was right when he said "bad hobbitses!"

Interesting.

I am not much of a fan of the original, so I am curious to see what they have done with it.

The involvement of Aja and Levasseur is enough to capture my interest.

As a big lover of the original, I was ready to write-off the remake; but this actually looks quite interesting.

This looks not too shabby and I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned Mr Wood's fantastic turn in Sin City yet.

I dont know...

I don't really like the original so this may probably be a better movie. But why all these remakes? Just rip-off the good ideas and call the movie something else. I would totally respect that more..

Looove the original.
Hard to tell from just a short trailer, but I am kinda interested in seeing this.
As far as a pretty boy serial killer, many real life serial killers where thought to be good looking and unsuspecting. It allowed them to get closer to their victims.
I will give it a shot when it is released.

I really like the original, and I really like that trailer. Pretty chilling in places! Can't wait to see it
