O.J Simpson (don't laugh) was apparently an early choice for
The Terminator (I said
Don't Laugh!) but was turned down by James Cameron who didn't think "
such a nice guy could be a ruthless killer" (
OI! - Stop that giggling at the back!!).
Obviously Simpson was so disappointed that he went out and played the role anyway.
