Don't listen to who? I don't think anyone is going to take any notice of a bunch of fans on a horror forum. If - and it's a big if - Romero believes he can do justice to Argento's greatest work, then go for it. What's the betting it'll turn into Deep Red of the Dead?
Personally I don't believe that Romero can improve on this masterpiece and I think he's a bit delusional if he thinks he can.
