I almost wrote one of these myself. The slasher genre is an area of expertise for me. I actually studied the genre and was working on a book on Canadian slasher films. Life got in the way and I put it on hold for now :-)
Which book is better? | I've read the Legacy of Blood one many times before I found it cheap on Amazon and think it's a good book, the other one only arrived a week or so ago so I haven't really read much of it yet, but what I have read is good although it has reviews for other films besides slashers eg House By The Cemetery and The Devil's Rejects, two films I would never class as slashers
