Yes
'Magic Bus', written in 1965, was not originally on an album, and was released as a single in 1968. A version of it, running for 7:30, was included on the classic 'Live at Leeds' recordings. Apparently bass player John Enthwistle hated this song, because all he got to play was an 'A' note on his guitar!
'I Can See For Miles' was from the 1967 album 'The Who Sell Out'. At the time, it was seen as being "
the ultimate Who record", and it is thought that Paul McCartney wrote 'Helter Skelter' for The Beatles as an answer to it, because he wanted to make a song that was "
even heavier"!
