I adore Blood & Black Lace. Such a special film. Its like some trashy crime paperback come to life for me and you really get a sense that Bava was doing something so daring for it's time. Yet no matter how mean-spirited things get, he never takes it too seriously and finishes with a signature almost poetic ending.
