With all the 'nu-horror' and remakes these days British horror, both classic and recent tends to get overlooked. So what are everyone's favourite British horror films, and why? |
How foolish of me, obviously the thread did exist!
As for British horror's I am a firm fan of the classics....
My personal faves are:
- The Abominable Dr Phibes
- And Soon the Darkness
- The Brides of Dracula
- The Curse of Frankenstein
- The Devil Rides Out
- The Devils
- Don't Look Now
- Dracula Has Risen From the Grave
- Frankenstein Created Woman
- Horror of Dracula
- The House That Dripped Blood
- The Innocents
- Inseminoid
- Killer's Moon
- The Mummy (1959)
- Night of the Eagle
- Prey
- Repulsion
- The Revenge of Frankenstein
- Satan's Slave
- Schizo
- Terror
- The Wicker Man
As you can see by my choices I'm a huge Norman J. Warren and Hammer (particularly Terence Fisher) nut! I do love a bit of classic Brit-Horror!
