Multiple the numbers in your post by at least three of four and you are probably right.
AFAIK, 84 Ent. have already done 9 cifferent editions of their DVD release of
Suspiria.
What bothers me a little bit: TLE Films is known to deliver great quality. BUT the work will be done on the already exisiting Italian 2k HD master.
The reason that was given in public: The OCN is locked away and not accesible.
As far as I understand though, Synapse will do a new scan of the OCN
Did I get something wrong?
